Would a pine tree sap damage my car paint?

Hi guys, i just recently moved to canada and just purchased my car few days ago. I have a parking space behind our house, and right beside my slot, there's a big pine tree. Everytime the car is parked there, many drops of pine tree sap goes into my car. Would it damage the paint? bec some tree saps really destroys car paint. but i dont know about this one. is it ok if i will park my car everyday on that slot? there's also a parking space infront of our house, however; its beside the road already. and i just hate the thought of thinking that some crazy driver might hit my car
