Flight prices from Indonesia to America? Please help?

Let me explain the situation a little so you can help me better...I would like to fly to Indonesia, get my friend, and bring her back to America with me. It will be from Jakarta to Los Angeles. The trip will be any time after September Eighth of this year, but I'm not sure the exact date yet. You see, I want to bring my friend to America so we can be roomies, and she can study here, so I don't want it to be a round trip for her...But it will be a round trip for me, because I'm coming back...If that makes any sense...Please help me, I have no idea how to search for this myself!
