Asking someone to prom in Indonesian.?

The girl I want to ask to prom is Indonesian Chinese, and I thought it would be cool to ask her in Indonesian. Would any Indonesian-speaking denizens of the internet care to help me? I should note that she only knows the street dialect of Jakarta, and she says that she can only barely understand TV broadcasts in standardized Indonesian, so if any of you are familiar with that particular dialect of Indonesian, it would be especially helpful.
