What is the best thing I could do to find a decent bf?

Ok here is the short story...mid 20's, wanting a relationship with a decent, very pretty (so I have been told many times), medium build, smart, decent job....what am I not doing or what can I do to try and find a decent guy. And any decent guy I do meet is too shy/scared to approach me or ask me out. What do guys want regarding girls!? (besides the obvious answer, sex).
