Can I enter Italy with an Austrian Visa?

I am an Indonesien and I am going to travel around Europe in April 2011. Since I already bought a Ticket Jakarta-Milan-Wien and today I tried to apply Visa in Italian Embassy but it seems that they will give my Visa after my departure time, I would like to try to apply Visa in Austrian Embassy. So my question is, If I get the Austrian Visa (Schengen Visa), will it be possible for me to enter Italian first with the Austrian visa?
